First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. Allow the victim to rest. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.

Symptoms: Not expected to present a significant inhalation hazard under anticipated conditions of normal use.

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of water/... Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops. Wash skin with plenty of water.

Symptoms: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Eye contact

In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 10-15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists. Rinse eyes with water as a precaution.

Symptoms: pain, blinking or redness

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain emergency medical attention. Allow the victim to rest. Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.

Symptoms: Ingestion unlikely. Risk of lung oedema.

Immediate Medical Attention

Call a physician immediately. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists. Obtain emergency medical attention.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.
