First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Terminate the exposure immediately; move the affected person to fresh air.

Symptoms: Not expected. Inhalation of aerosols or dust from the dried mixture may cause respiratory irritation.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothes. Wash the affected area with plenty of water, lukewarm if possible. Soap, soap solution or shampoo should be used if there is no skin injury. Provide medical treatment if skin irritation persists.

Symptoms: May cause an allergic skin reaction.

Eye contact

Rinse eyes immediately with a flow of running water, open the eyelids (also using force if needed); remove contact lenses immediately if worn by the affected person. Rinsing should continue at least for 10 minutes.

Symptoms: Not expected.

Ingestion

Rinse out the mouth with clean water. In the event of issues, find medical help.

Symptoms: Irritation, nausea.

Immediate Medical Attention

Provide medical treatment if skin irritation persists. In the event of issues, find medical help.

Medical Treatment

Symptomatic treatment.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, powder, water spray jet, water mist. Accommodate extinguishing components to the location of fire.

Unsuitable media

Water - full jet.

Specific hazards

In the event of fire, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other toxic gases may arise. Inhalation of hazardous degradation (pyrolysis) products may cause serious health damage.

Instructions

Use a self-contained breathing apparatus and full-body protective clothing. Do not allow run-off of contaminated fire extinguishing material to enter drains or surface and ground water.

Firefighter Protection

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) with a chemical protection suit only where personal (close) contact is likely. Use a self-contained breathing apparatus and full-body protective clothing.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Use personal protective equipment for work. Follow the instructions in the Sections 7 and 8. Prevent contact with skin and eyes.

Environmental

Prevent contamination of the soil and entering surface or ground water.

Cleanup methods

Spilled mixture should be removed immediately. For mechanical cleaning, preference should be given to vacuum equipment equipped with an effective filter. Do not flush with high-pressure water jets (aerosols are formed).

07

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Avoid the formation of aerosols or dust in concentrations exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations for the working atmosphere. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. Use personal protective equipment as per Section 8. Observe valid legal regulations on safety and health protection. Do not inhale aerosols. Do not eat, drink or smoke during handling.

Storage

Store in tightly closed containers in cold, dry and well ventilated areas designated for this purpose. Keep away from sources of heating, ignition and direct sunlight. Protect against frost.

Hygiene

Do not eat, drink or smoke during handling.

Fire prevention

Keep away from sources of heating, ignition

Reactivity

When used in the standard way, there is not any dangerous reaction with other substances.

Hazardous reactions

Unknown.

Avoid

At temperatures above 65°C, enzyme activity decreases. Protect against flames, sparks, overheating.
