First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Terminate the exposure immediately; move the affected person to fresh air.

Symptoms: Not expected. May cause respiratory irritation.

Skin contact

Wash the affected area with plenty of water, lukewarm if possible. Remove contaminated clothes.

Symptoms: Not expected. May cause slight redness.

Eye contact

Rinse eyes immediately with a flow of running water, open the eyelids (also using force if needed); remove contact lenses immediately if worn by the affected person.

Symptoms: Not expected. May cause slight redness.

Ingestion

Rinse out the mouth with clean water. In the event of issues, find medical help.

Symptoms: Irritation, nausea.

Medical Treatment

Symptomatic treatment.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, powder, water spray jet, water mist. Accommodate extinguishing components to the location of fire.

Unsuitable media

Water - full jet.

Specific hazards

In the event of fire, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other toxic gases may arise. Inhalation of hazardous degradation (pyrolysis) products may cause serious health damage.

Firefighter Protection

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) with chemical resistant gloves. Use a self-contained breathing apparatus and full-body protective clothing.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Follow the instructions in the Sections 7 and 8.

Environmental

Prevent contamination of the soil and entering surface or ground water.

Cleanup methods

For mechanical cleaning, preference should be given to devices operating with a vacuum and equipped with an effective filter. Do not rinse with high-pressure water jets (aerosols are formed).

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Do not inhale mist/vapours/spray. Do not inhale dust. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. Use personal protective equipment as per Section 8.

Storage

Store in tightly closed containers in cold, dry and well ventilated areas designated for this purpose. Protect against frost. Protect from sunlight.

Hygiene

Do not eat, drink or smoke during handling.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Ventilation.

Hands

Protective gloves resistant to the product. EN ISO 374-1. When handling in long-term or repeatedly, use protective gloves.

Eyes

Protective goggles or face shield (based on the nature of the work performed). EN166 - Personal Eye Protection Standard.

Respiratory

If there is a risk of aerosol formation, use a suitable respirator, filter P2 (EN 143, DIN149).

Skin/Body

protective workwear.

Environmental

Observe usual measures for protection of the environment, see Section 6.2.

Stability and Reactivity

Chemical stability, hazardous reactions, and incompatible materials

Stability

The product is stable under normal conditions. The mixture is stable up to 70°C. Above this temperature, the effectiveness decreases.

Reactivity

When used in the standard way, there is not any dangerous reaction with other substances.

Hazardous reactions

Unknown.

Avoid

pH < 4, pH > 9, temperature above 0°C. Protect against frost.

Incompatible

When combined with substances unsuitable for enzymes, the effectiveness decreases significantly (cationic and anionic surfactants, heavy metals, direct steam, etc.)

Decomposition

Not developed under normal uses. Dangerous outcomes such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide are formed at high temperature and in fire.
