First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Symptoms: Cough. May cause respiratory irritation.

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Wash skin with plenty of water.

Symptoms: irritation (itching, redness, blistering). Causes skin irritation.

Eye contact

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get immediate medical advice/attention.

Symptoms: redness, itching, tears. Corrosion of the eye tissue. May cause severe irritation.

Ingestion

Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never allow an unconscious person to drink or eat.
