Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Dry chemical. Carbon Dioxide. Foam.
Water.
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon oxides
Cool with water spray. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Firefighter Protection
Use a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Isolate defective containers immediately, if possible and safe to do. Shut off leak, if possible and safe to do.
Avoid release to the environment.
Mechanical removal of the polluted surface. Absorb with dry sand, possibly by heating.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
When heated above the flash point and/or during spraying (atomizing), ignitable mixtures may form in air. Do not breathe vapors. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of oil dust. Ensure there is good room ventilation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. Do not store at temperatures above 100 °C. Low temperature storage can cause handling problems. Viscosity of material will increase.
