First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. Allow the victim to rest.

Skin contact

Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse.

Eye contact

Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists.
