Chemical components, concentration ranges, and hazardous substance identification
First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If affected person is not breathing, apply artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.
If irritation is experienced, flush with water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. If symptoms persist, get medical attention.
Do not induce vomiting. If the material is swallowed, get medical attention or advice.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Water fog, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical powder, Carbon dioxide (CO2).
For this substance/mixture, no limitations of extinguishing agents are given.
Combustible. Pay attention to flashback. Vapors are heavier than air and may spread along floors. Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapours possible in the event of fire. Forms explosive mixtures with air at ambient temperatures.
Firefighter Protection
Stay in danger area only with self-contained breathing apparatus. Prevent skin contact by keeping a safe distance or by wearing suitable protective clothing.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Evacuate the danger area, observe emergency procedures, consult an expert.
Do not let product enter drains. Risk of explosion.
Take up carefully with liquid-absorbent material. Clean up affected area.
Materials: liquid-absorbent material

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Do not inhale substance/mixture.
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Moisture sensitive. Handle and store under inert gas.
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces, and sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective threshold limit value. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are proximal to the work-station location.
Wear appropriate protective gloves and clothing to prevent skin exposure.
Safety glasses with side shields are recommended as minimum protection in industrial settings.
Vapor respirator. Be sure to use a MSHA/NIOSH approved respirator or equivalent. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate.
Wear appropriate protective gloves and clothing to prevent skin exposure.
Do not let product enter drains. Risk of explosion.
Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance, physical state, melting point, boiling point, and material characteristics
Stability and Reactivity
Chemical stability, hazardous reactions, and incompatible materials
The product is chemically stable under standard ambient conditions (room temperature).
Vapors may form explosive mixture with air.
No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
