First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours. If symptoms persist, call a doctor.

Skin contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. If skin irritation persists, call a doctor.

Symptoms: May cause an allergic skin reaction. Burning sensation. Hives. Itching. Rashes.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Remove contact lenses. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist. Do not rub.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Drink plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Consult a physician.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically. May cause sensitisation in susceptible persons.
