Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn. Technical measures and the application of suitable work processes have priority over personal protection equipment.

Hands

Suitable material: CR (polychloroprene, chloroprene rubber). Thickness of the glove material: 0.5 mm. Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time): 8 h. Suitable material: NBR (nitrile rubber). Thickness of the glove material: 0.35 mm. Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time): 8 h. Suitable material: BR (butyl rubber). Thickness of the glove material: 0.5 mm. Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time): 8 h. Suitable material: FKM (fluorine rubber). Thickness of the glove material: 0.4 mm. Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time): 8 h. Suitable material: PVC (poly vinyl chloride). Thickness of the glove material: 0.5 mm. Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time): 8 h.

Eyes

Eye glasses with side protection

Respiratory

Suitable respiratory protection apparatus: Combination filtering device (DIN EN 141). Filter class: A-P2. The filter class must be suitable for the maximum contaminant concentration (gas/vapour/aerosol/particulates) that may arise when handling the product. If the concentration is exceeded, self-contained breathing apparatus must be used!

Skin/Body

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes.

Environmental

Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
