Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Use protective gloves. Wear nitril gloves (minumum 0,4 mm thickness penetration time >= 480 min). Please see also recommendation on www.gisbau.de. The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed. The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.

Eyes

Use tightly fitting safety glasses.

Respiratory

Breathing protection equipment required in inadequately ventilated places and during spraying. Face mask A/P2.

Skin/Body

Wear long-sleeved industrial protective clothing. Keep working clothes separate. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Decontaminate, destroy and dispose of soiled protective clothing.
