First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move the victim to fresh air. Call a physician if irritation develops or persists.

Skin contact

Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately.

Ingestion

Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. If conscious, drink plenty of water. In case of ingestion, the stomach should be emptied by gastric lavage under qualified medical supervision. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position.

Immediate Medical Attention

Call a physician immediately.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically. If ingested, irrigate the stomach.
