First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air and if discomfort persists seek medical advice. In extreme cases if breathing has stopped use artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen

Skin contact

Generally the product does not irritate the skin. But as a precaution remove any soiled clothing, wash affected areas with plenty of water and soap.

Symptoms: Generally the product does not irritate the skin.

Eye contact

Flush immediately with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. If irritation persists seek medical advice.

Symptoms: Irritation

Ingestion

Inapplicable (Solid, chemical mixture)

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Dry sand

Unsuitable media

DO NOT USE WATER

Specific hazards

Product is not explosive but explosive air / vapor combinations are possible. Moisture mixed with air causes explosion risk. Also in poorly ventilated areas where solvent concentrations can build up.

Firefighter Protection

Respiratory protective device. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Avoid eye and skin contact. Evacuate area of non-essential personnel and shut off all sources of ignition.

Environmental

Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any watercourse and inform respective authorities in case of such seepage.

Cleanup methods

transfer spill material to a leak proof container suitable for disposal in accordance with local regulations. Never flush with water or aqueous cleaning agent and avoid dust during the clean- up operation.

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Instruct the personnel regarding the products properties and the necessary measures that must be taken in case of accidents. Products are inflammable. Avoid the formation of explosive vapor of white spirit, dusts of aluminium. Handle the product in accordance with the requirements of health and security to the place of labor. Wash hands soon after handling products. Wash individual protective equipment which has been contaminated, before utilization. Don't breathe the dust and vapor of solvent; use respiratory protective mask. Avoid direct contact of products with the skin. Remove all sources of ignition. Forbid smoking. Avoid electrostatic charge. Please avoid excess impact/vibration, turning-over, rolling-over and dropping.

Storage

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat, source of fire, oxidizers, acidic substances and flammable materials. Keep tightly closed. Protect from humidity and water. Store indoors keeping away from direct sunshine or heat source, at temperatures between 10 and 30 °C.

Hygiene

Wash hands soon after handling products. Wash individual protective equipment which has been contaminated, before utilization.

Fire prevention

Remove all sources of ignition. Forbid smoking. Avoid electrostatic charge.
