First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if discomfort continues.

Symptoms: May cause irritation to the respiratory system.

Skin contact

Wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

Symptoms: Prolonged skin contact may cause redness and irritation.

Eye contact

Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention if discomfort continues.

Symptoms: Prolonged contact may cause redness and/or tearing. May cause severe irritation to eyes.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water (200-300 ml). Consult a physician for specific advice.

Symptoms: May be harmful if swallowed.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.
