Composition Notes

First Aid

Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

Inhalation Exposure

Verse lucht toedienen.

Skin Contact

Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken.

Contactlenzen uitdoen. Medisch advies inwinnen.

Ingestion/Swallowing

Bij inslikken direkt arts raadplegen. Het slachtoffer laten rusten. GEEN braken opwekken.

Immediate Medical Attention Required

Medical Treatment

Symptomatisch behandelen.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls

Ventilation must be present in spray booths for spray particles and solvent vapors. Workers in spray booths must wear a fresh-air hood during the spraying process until the concentration drops below the MAC value.

Hand Protection

For prolonged or repeated contact, use chemical-resistant gloves as indicated in standard EN 374: Protective gloves against chemicals and microorganisms. Recommended gloves: Viton(R) with a minimum breakthrough time of 480 minutes. For long-term and regular contact, a glove with protection class 6 (breakthrough time more than 480 minutes according to EN 374) is recommended. If only short contact is expected, a glove with protection class 2 or higher (breakthrough time greater than 30 minutes according to EN 374) is recommended. ATTENTION: The choice of a specific glove for certain applications and the duration of use should also be based on all relevant workplace factors such as, but not limited to: other chemicals used, physical requirements (cut/puncture protection, ease of use, thermal protection), possible bodily reactions to the glove material, as well as the instructions/specifications provided by the glove supplier.

Eye Protection

Wearing chemical-resistant safety glasses is mandatory.

Respiratory Protection

If workers - even if they are not directly involved in processing the product - are in a spray booth, ventilation must be present for any spray particles and solvent vapors. Under these circumstances, they must wear a fresh-air hood during the spraying process until the concentration has fallen below the MAC value.

Skin/Body Protection

Personnel must wear protective clothing. Wash thoroughly after skin contact. Work clothing should not consist of textiles that show dangerous melting behavior in case of fire. Wearing antistatic shoes is mandatory.

Environmental Exposure Controls

Refer to national legislation in chapter 15 for regulations regarding environmental protection.
