Er dient ermee rekening te worden gehouden dat de gebruiksduur van een chemicaliehandschoen in de praktijk op grond van de vele invloedfactoren (bv temperatuur) aanzienlijk korter dan de volgens EN 374 berekende permeatietijd kan zijn.
