Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Frisse lucht en rust. Roep bij aanhoudende symptomen medische bijstand in.
Verontreinigde kleding verwijderen. De huid wassen met water en zeep. Raadpleeg een arts als er zich symptomen voordoen.
Symptoms: Irritatie. Bij gevoelige individuen kunnen allergische reacties optreden.
Indien mogelijk, onmiddellijk te verwijderen contactlenzen. Spoel het oog enkele minuten met lauw water. Bij aanhoudende irritatie een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Irritatie. Stekende pijn.
Spoel eerst de mond grondig met een ruime hoeveelheid water en SPUUG het spoelwater UIT. Drink vervolgens minstens een halve liter water en roep de hulp in van een arts. GEEN BRAKEN opwekken.
Symptoms: Kan irritatie van de slijmvliezen, misselijkheid en braken veroorzaken.

Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Workplace ventilation must ensure air quality that meets the requirements of current workplace legislation. Local ventilation must be used to remove airborne contamination at the source.

For continuous contact, use gloves with a minimum breakthrough time of at least 240 minutes, preferably more than 480 minutes. The most suitable protective glove must be chosen in consultation with the glove supplier, taking into account the risk assessment for the specific task and the properties of the chemicals involved. Note that the breakthrough time of the material is influenced by the duration of exposure, ambient temperature, abrasion, etc. Based on the chemical properties of the product, the following glove materials (EN 374) are recommended: Nitrile rubber, Glove thickness 0.38 mm, Breakthrough time 60 min.
Use close-fitting safety glasses conforming to standard EN166.
