First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Breng het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht; warm houden en laten rusten. Bij twijfel of bij aanhoudende verschijnselen, altijd een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan irritatie van de luchtwegen veroorzaken. Inademen van nevel veroorzaakt irritatie van de ademhalingswegen. Hoest. Inademing van hoge dampconcentraties kan symptomen als hoofdpijn, duizeligheid, moeheid, misselijkheid en braken veroorzaken.
Besmette kleding en schoenen uittrekken. Voorzichtig wassen met veel water en zeep. Verontreinigde kleding wassen alvorens deze opnieuw te gebruiken. Bij twijfel of bij aanhoudende verschijnselen, altijd een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan een allergische huidreactie veroorzaken. Veroorzaakt huidirritatie.
Direct voorzichtig en grondig met oogdouche of met water spoelen. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt ernstig oogletsel. Volgende symptomen kunnen optreden: Pijn, roodheid, jeuk, tranen.
GEEN braken opwekken. Nooit bij een bewusteloze persoon iets toedienen via de mond. De mond grondig spoelen met water. Een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Schadelijk bij opname door de mond. Kan misselijkheid, buikkrampen en slijmvliesirritatie veroorzaken. Bij absorptie van dit product in het lichaam kan vorming van methemoglobine ontstaan dat, bij voldoende concentratie, cyanose veroorzaakt. Nierletsel kan voorkomen. Bloedziekte kan voorkomen bij inslikken.
Immediate Medical Attention
Onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen (voor oogcontact).

Beschermingshandschoenen tegen chemicalin moeten in hun uitvoering afhankelijk van de concentatie van de gevaarlijke en -hoeveelheid speciaal voor de werkplek uitgekozen worden.
Gebruik een geschikte oogbescherming (EN166): veiligheidsbril. Gelaatsbescherming
Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikt ademhalingsapparaat gebruiken. Halfgelaatsmasker (DIN EN 140). Volledig gelaatsmasker (DIN EN 136). Type filter: A (EN 14387). De adembeschermingsfilterklasse moet worden aangepast aan de maximale concentratie schadelijke stoffen (gas/damp/aerosol/partikels) die bij de omgang met het product kan ontstaan. Bij een overschrijding van de concentratie een isoleerapparaat gebruiken! (EN 137)
