Er moet een goede algehele ventilatie worden gebruikt (gewoonlijk 10 luchtverversingen per uur). Ventiliatiesnelheden moeten zijn aangepast aan de omstandigheden.

Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de penetratietijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. De gebruikte veiligheidshandschoenen moeten voldoen aan de specificaties in de Verordening (EU) 2016/425 en de daaruit voortvloeiende standaard EN 374. De aanbeveling geldt alleen voor het geleverde product en de genoemde toepassing. Bijzondere werkomstandigheden waaronder warmte of mechanische belasting die van de testvoorwaarden afwijken, kunnen de bescherming van de aangeraden handschoen verminderen. Aanbevolen : De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschilt van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Handbescherming: Geschikte veiligheidshandschoenen ( b.v. polychloropreen CR ) dragen. Advies: gecontamineerde handschoenen verwijderen. De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee. De vastgestelde penetratietijden volgens EN 16523-1:2015 werden niet onder de praktijkvoorwaarden bepaald.
