Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen. Maak strakzittende kleding los, zoals een overhemdboord, das, riem of ceintuur. Slachtoffer warm en rustig houden. Medische hulp inroepen als aandoeningen merkbaar worden. Bij moeizame ademhaling zuurstof toedienen. Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische hulp inroepen. Als de patint niet ademt, onregelmatig ademt, of als zich een ademhalingsstilstand voordoet, dient kunstmatige beademing of zuurstof te worden toegediend door getraind personeel. Zorg dat luchtwegen vrij blijven.
Symptoms: Moeizame ademhaling, aandoeningen merkbaar worden.
Verontreinigde kleding en schoenen onmiddellijk uittrekken. Bij aanraking met de huid onmiddellijk grondig spoelen met zeep en veel water. Als de huidirritatie voortduurt, een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Huidirritatie.
Bij aanraking met de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen en medisch advies inwinnen. Contactlenzen uitnemen. Onbeschadigd oog beschermen. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden. Indien oogirritatie aanhoudt een specialist raadplegen.
Symptoms: Onherroepelijke weefsel schade, blindheid, oogirritatie.
GEEN braken opwekken. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten). Mond spoelen met water. Drink 1 of 2 glazen water. Slachtoffer warm en rustig houden. Indien de persoon moet braken, houdt het hoofd dan laag om te voorkomen dat er braaksel in de longen komt. Zorg voor medische hulp als er symptomen ontstaan.
Symptoms: Braken (indien de persoon moet braken), algemene symptomen.
Immediate Medical Attention
Een arts raadplegen. Dit veiligheidsinformatieblad aan de dienstdoende arts tonen. Het slachtoffer niet alleen laten. Medische hulp inroepen als aandoeningen merkbaar worden (bij inademing). Medisch advies inwinnen (bij oogcontact). Zorg voor medische hulp als er symptomen ontstaan (bij inslikken).
