First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen. Slachtoffer rustig houden, in halfzittende houding. Als het slachtoffer niet of onregelmatig ademt, kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Een arts raadplegen.
Verontreinigde kleren en schoenen uittrekken. Huid onmiddellijk spoelen met veel water. (minstens 20') (ev. douchen). Een arts raadplegen.
Onmiddellijk grondig en langdurig (minstens 15 min.) spoelen met veel water. Contactlenzen verwijderen. Oogarts consulteren.
NIET LATEN BRAKEN. De mond spoelen met water. Slachtoffer ONMIDDELLIJK naar het ziekenhuis brengen.
Immediate Medical Attention
IN ALLE GEVALLEN EEN ARTS RAADPLEGEN. Slachtoffer ONMIDDELLIJK naar het ziekenhuis brengen (bij inslikken).
Medical Treatment
Specifiek tegen Methanolvergiftiging behandelen.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Bluspoeder, Alcoholbestendig schuim, Koolstofdioxide (CO2), Verneveld water.
Sterke waterstraal.
Bij brand kunnen koolstofoxiden (o.a. CO) en rook vrijkomen. De damp mengt zich goed met lucht tot vorming van explosieve mengsels.
Gebruik (verneveld) water om de naburige verpakkingen en constructies af te koelen.
Firefighter Protection
In de onmiddellijke nabijheid van het vuur een onafhankelijk ademhalingstoestel en beschermende kledij dragen.
Accidental Release Measures

Ontruim onmiddellijk de besmette ruimtes en zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Vermijd inademing van de dampen en aanraking met de ogen, de huid en de kledij.
Verhinder dat het product in open water, riolering of de bodem terechtkomt.
Lekvloeistof opvangen in afsluitbare afvalvaten. Gemorst product zo snel mogelijk opruimen d.m.v. een inert, absorberend product.
