Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Avoid direct contact with the product.

Storage

Requirements relating to storage premises apply to all facilities where the mixture is handled. Conditions according to local authorities.

Hygiene

Always wash hands after handling.

Fire prevention

Prevent access by unauthorised personnel.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Ensure adequate ventilation, if possible with extractor fans at work posts and appropriate general extraction.

Hands

Wear suitable protective gloves in the event of prolonged or repeated skin contact. Gloves of appropriate material (i.e. nitrilic rubber, specification: penetration time: level 6, >480 min., thickness 0,9-1 mm; CE-certified acc. EN 374 cat III). Use appropriate protection cream, especially if for safety reasons protective gloves are not advisable.

Eyes

Avoid contact with eyes. Use eye protectors designed to protect against liquid splashes. Before handling, wear safety goggles in accordance with standard EN166.

Respiratory

In case of forming of mist or if ventilation is not sufficient it's recommended to wear breathing apparatus (type FFA1P1 according to standard CE EN 405).

Skin/Body

Work clothing worn by personnel shall be laundered regularly. Standard issue working clothes. Safety shoes or boots - chemical resistant. Avoid long and intensive skin contact.
