First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician. Provide fresh air.

Symptoms: respiratory tract irritation, Asthmatic complaints, Respiratory complaints, Dizziness, Headache

Skin contact

Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately. Wash immediately with: Water and soap. In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.

Symptoms: skin irritation, Allergic reactions

Eye contact

In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Let water be drunken in little sips (dilution effect).

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.

Work must be in accordance with EN 374. Please observe the permeation times. Gloves with shorter permeation times are only suitable for short term contact activities. Full contact gloves should offer permeation times over 120 minutes. Contaminated gloves should be disposed of immediately, specially flattered gloves or short term contact gloves should be disposed of after the end of the shift.
