Symptoms:
Due to antagonism with vitamin K, difenacoum inhibits the formation of several clotting factors. Taken in large or repeatedly in smaller quantities, it can cause subcutaneous bleeding. Symptoms of poisoning are prolonged prothrombin time and coagulation time, bleeding from the nose, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal tract.
