Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische hulp inroepen. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Onmiddellijke medische behandeling is noodzakelijk, omdat onbehandelde huidaantasting langzaam en moeilijk te genezen wonden veroorzaakt. Bij aanraking met de huid, goed afspoelen met water. Bij knoeien op kleding, kleding uittrekken.

Een arts raadplegen. Medische hulp inroepen bij inademing. Onmiddellijke medische behandeling is noodzakelijk bij huidaantasting. Medisch advies inwinnen bij oogcontact. Brandwonden door chemicaliën moeten onmiddellijk door een arts worden behandeld.
