Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische hulp inroepen. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Onmiddellijk medische hulp inroepen. Huid direkt met veel water en zeep wassen, beter nog direkt met polyethyleenglycol 400 reinigen en daarna met veel water en zeep wassen. Op grondige reiniging letten, ook b.v. van het haar, onder vingernagels en andere verborgen plaatsen. Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Bij het blauw worden (cyanose) van lippen, huid of nagels zuurstof toedie- nen. Geen lichamelijke inspanningen. Geen alcoholgebruik na contact met het product.
Symptoms: blauw worden (cyanose) van lippen, huid of nagels
Oog/ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen. Contactlenzen uitnemen. Onbeschadigd oog beschermen. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden. Indien oogirritatie aanhoudt een specialist raadplegen.
Onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen. GEEN braken opwekken tenzij op aanwijzing van arts of vergiftigingsinformatiecentrum. Ademhalingswegen vrijhouden. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten).

Eerste Hulp, decontaminatie, symptomatische behandeling, afhankelijk van de methaemoglobinevorming, toluidineblauw of andere Redox-kleurstoffen intraveneus volgens doseervoorschrift alsook ascorbinezuur.
