Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische hulp inroepen.
Bij aanraking met de huid, goed afspoelen met water. Bij knoeien op kleding, kleding uittrekken.
Symptoms: Onmiddellijke medische behandeling is noodzakelijk, omdat onbehandelde huidaantasting langzaam en moeilijk te genezen wonden veroorzaakt. Veroorzaakt ernstige brandwonden.
Bij aanraking met de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen en medisch advies inwinnen. Ogen blijven spoelen tijdens vervoer naar het ziekenhuis. Contactlenzen uitnemen. Onbeschadigd oog beschermen. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden. Indien oogirritatie aanhoudt een specialist raadplegen.
Symptoms: Bij kleine spatjes in de ogen kan onherroepelijke weefsel schade en blindheid ontstaan. Veroorzaakt ernstig oogletsel.
Mond reinigen met water en daarna veel water drinken. Ademhalingswegen vrijhouden. GEEN braken opwekken. Geen melk of alcoholische dranken geven. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten).
Symptoms: Schadelijk bij inslikken.
Immediate Medical Attention
Een arts raadplegen. Medische hulp inroepen (bij inademing en bewusteloosheid). Onmiddellijke medische behandeling is noodzakelijk (bij huidcontact). Medisch advies inwinnen (bij oogcontact).

Zuurbestendige beschermende kleding. Kies beschermingskleding aan de hand van de hoeveelheid en concentratie van de gevaarlijke stof op de werkplek.
