Symptoms: difficulty in breathing, nose and pharynx are irritated

Skin contact

Remove mechanically. Wash off immediately with plenty of water. In the event of irritated skin due to mechanical irritation, carefully rinse the affected parts with water and then carefully wash. Next, apply cream. Do not rub or scratch the affected skin.

Symptoms: Irritated skin due to mechanical irritation

Eye contact

Remove contact lenses, and rinse with plenty of water while keeping the eyelids open for at least 15 minutes. Do not rub eyes. Consult an optometrist.

Symptoms: Irritation

Ingestion

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Facilities utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower. Review your applications in order to identify potential sources of dust exposure. Local exhaust ventilation, which collects dust at source, can be used. Keep the workplace clean.

Hands

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Protective gloves (e.g. nitrile rubber) should be worn when handling the product and a possibility for skin contact.

Eyes

Use protective equipment for the eyes (tightly fitting safety glasses) during dust formation. Eye - wash.

Respiratory

Requires at not sufficient ventilated working places. For significant dust concentrations below the exposure limit value, respiratory protection is not required but FFP2 (mask according to EN 149) respirators may be used on a voluntary basis. For short-term operations where excursions are less than ten times the limit value use FFP1 respirators.

Skin/Body

Overall (preferably heavy cotton) or disposable coverall. Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants and shoes plus socks. Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned before re use. Keep working clothes separate.
