Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
๐ซ Inhalation Exposure
Move to fresh air. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice. Consult a physician after significant exposure.
๐๏ธ Skin Contact
If on skin, rinse well with water. First aid is not normally required. However, it is recommended that exposed areas be cleaned by washing with soap and water. If on clothes, remove clothes.
Symptoms:
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
๐๏ธ Eye Contact
Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing
Obtain medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Symptoms:
May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
๐จ Immediate Medical Attention Required
No hazards which require special first aid measures.

๐ญ Engineering Controls
Provide sufficient mechanical (general and/or local exhaust) ventilation to maintain exposure below exposure guidelines (if applicable) or below levels that cause known, suspected or apparent adverse effects.
๐งค Hand Protection
Nitrile rubber Neoprene gloves The suitability for a specific workplace should be discussed with the producers of the protective gloves.
๐๏ธ Eye Protection
Not required under normal conditions of use. Wear splash-proof safety goggles if material could be misted or splashed into eyes.
๐ท Respiratory Protection
In the case of vapour formation use a respirator with an approved filter. No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
๐ฆบ Skin/Body Protection
Wear as appropriate: Impervious clothing Safety shoes Flame-resistant clothing Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place.
