Composition Notes

Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

๐Ÿซ Inhalation Exposure

Verse lucht toedienen.

Symptoms:

Onregelmatige ademhaling of ademstilstand.

๐Ÿ–๏ธ Skin Contact

Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Contact

Contactlenzen uitdoen. Medisch advies inwinnen.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing

Bij inslikken direkt arts raadplegen. Het slachtoffer laten rusten. GEEN braken opwekken.

๐Ÿšจ Immediate Medical Attention Required

Medical Treatment

Kunstmatige beademing toepassen bij onregelmatige ademhaling of ademstilstand.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

๐Ÿญ Engineering Controls

Ventilation must be present for spray particles and solvent vapors, especially in spray booths, to reduce concentrations below MAC value.

๐Ÿงค Hand Protection

For prolonged or repeated contact, use chemical-resistant gloves as per EN 374. Recommended gloves: Viton (R) with a minimum breakthrough time of 480 min. For long-term contact, a glove with protection class 6 (breakthrough time > 480 minutes) is recommended. For short contact, a glove with protection class 2 or higher (breakthrough time > 30 minutes) is recommended. The choice of gloves should consider all relevant workplace factors.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Protection

Wearing chemical-resistant safety glasses (afsluitende bril) is mandatory.

๐Ÿ˜ท Respiratory Protection

In spray booths, employees must wear a fresh-air hood during spraying until concentrations fall below the MAC value. A P2A2 half-face combination mask is also specified.

๐Ÿฆบ Skin/Body Protection

Personnel must wear protective clothing. Work clothing should not consist of textile that shows dangerous melting behavior in case of fire. Wearing antistatic shoes is mandatory.

๐ŸŒ Environmental Exposure Controls

Refer to national legislation in chapter 15 for environmental protection regulations.
