Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
๐ซ Inhalation Exposure
Call a physician immediately. lf breathing is dificult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comortable for breathing. lf the victim is unconscious : Lay in a stable manner on victim's side. lnduce artificial respiration with mask itted with one-way valve or other suitable device: not mouthto-mouth.
Symptoms:
Aspiration of the product into the lungs may cause very serious pneumonia. Depression of the central nervous system, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, loss o coordination.
๐๏ธ Skin Contact
Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin areas with mild soap and water, ollowed by warm water rinse. lf skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Symptoms:
lrritation (itching, redness, blistering).
๐๏ธ Eye Contact
lF lN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. lf eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/atlenlion.
Symptoms:
Mild eye irritation. Redness, itching, tears.
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing
Call a physician immediately. Do NOT induce vomiting. lf vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that vomit does not enter the lungs.
Symptoms:
May be fatal i swallowed and enters ainvays. Risk o lung edema. Risk o product entering the lungs on vomiting after ingestion. Pulmonary edema.
