Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

๐Ÿญ Engineering Controls

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined space. Avoid all unnecessary exposure.

๐Ÿงค Hand Protection

Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn at all times.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Protection

Wear appropriate chemical googles, or safety glasses with side-shields.

๐Ÿ˜ท Respiratory Protection

No special requirements in normal conditions. Wear a respirator with independent air supply if vapours are formed or respiratory irritation is experienced. Supplied air respirators may be required for non-routine or emergency situations.

๐Ÿฆบ Skin/Body Protection

Wear chemical resistant footwear and clothing such as gloves, an apron or a whole-body suit as appropriate.

๐ŸŒ Environmental Exposure Controls

Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the relevant authorities the product has cause environmental pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).
