Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Verwijder direct het onderwerp van de atmosfeer poluue en bel een dokter.
Symptoms: Irriterend voor de luchtwegen. De inademing van stoom met sterke concentratie heeft een narcotische reactie op het centrale zenuwstelsel tot gevolg.
De doordrenkte kleding terugtrekken en de huid met water zorgvuldig wassen. Als irritatie optreedt of als de verontreiniging is op grote schaal en langdurig, een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Huid uitdroging, irritatie.
Onmiddellijk met veel water wassen, houden de oogleden gedurende enkele minuten uit elkaar. Als irritatie aanhoudt, een oogarts raadplegen.

Niet innemen. Geen braken opwekken om het risico van aspiratie in de luchtwegen. Niet drinken, geen braken opwekken en onmiddellijk over de persoon aan een arts, door te laten zien op het etiket.
Symptoms: Aspiratie longontsteking (indien opgezogen in de longen).
Immediate Medical Attention
Altijd een arts waarschuwen ingeval van twijfel of indien de verschijnselen aanhouden. Bel een dokter bij inademing. Raadpleeg een oogarts als oogirritatie aanhoudt. Raadpleeg een arts als huidirritatie optreedt of als de verontreiniging grootschalig en langdurig is. Breng de persoon onmiddellijk naar een arts na inname.

Voor het hanteren moet een veiligheidsbril worden opgezet die voldoet aan de norm EN166.
Als de arbeiders te maken krijgen met concentraties die de blootstellingsgrenzen overschrijden moeten ze een geschikte en goedgekeurd ademhalingsbeschermingsmiddel dragen. Soort gecombineerd masker: Draag een masker volgens de norm EN136. Draag een halfgelaats-masker volgens de norm EN140. Filter(s) tegen gas en dampen (gecombineerde filters) volgens de norm EN14387: A1 (Bruin), A3 (Bruin). Wanneer werknemers worden geconfronteerd met concentraties boven de blootstellingsgrens zij moeten gebruik maken van passende gecertificeerd ademhalingstoestel (cartridge met gefilterde A).
