Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij ademhalingsmoeilijkheden het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen en laten rusten in een houding die het ademen vergemakkelijkt. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan een irritatie van de ademhalingswegen veroorzaken.
Bij huidirritatie: De huid met overvloedig water wassen. Medische hulp inroepen indien de irritatie aanhoudt.
Symptoms: Kan huidirritatie veroorzaken. Herhaalde blootstelling kan een droge of een gebarsten huid veroorzaken.
BIJ CONTACT MET DE OGEN: voorzichtig afspoelen met water gedurende een aantal minuten; contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk; blijven spoelen. Bij aanhoudende oogirritatie: een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt ernstige oogirritatie. Symptomen kunnen ongemak of pijn bevatten, overvloedig knipperen en traanproductie, met geschaafde roodheid en zwelling van het bindvlies.
Niet laten braken zonder medisch advies. Nooit bij een bewusteloze persoon iets toedienen via de mond. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan schadelijk zijn bij inslikken. Kan irritatie van het maag-darmkanaal, misselijkheid, braken en diarree veroorzaken.
Immediate Medical Attention
Bij een ongeval of indien men zich onwel voelt, onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen (indien mogelijk hem dit etiket tonen).
