First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Onmiddellijk aan verdere blootstelling onttrekken. Onmiddellijk medische hulp vragen. Zuurstof toedienen, indien beschikbaar. Indien de ademhaling gestopt is, een beademingstoestel gebruiken.
Symptoms: Irritatie van de luchtwegen, hoesten een droog en pijnlijk gevoel in de neus, en bewusteloos raken.
De plaatsen waar contact geweest is met zeepsop wassen. Verontreinigde kledij uittrekken. De verontreinigde kledij wassen vooraleer ze opnieuw te dragen. Injectie van het product in of onder de huid of in een ander lichaamsdeel is een noodsituatie die onmiddellijk door een arts onderzocht moet worden, welke het uitzicht of de afmetingen van de wonde ook zijn. Zelfs als de eerste symptomen van de hogedrukinjectie verwaarloosbaar of afwezig zijn, kan een medische behandeling binnen de eerste uren na het voorval de uiteindelijke ernst van de verwonding sterk verminderen.
Symptoms: Jeuk, pijn, roodheid, gezwollen huid. Plaatselijke necrose, kenbaar door vertraagd optreden van pijn en weefselbeschadiging enkele uren na injectie.
Met veel water spoelen. In geval van irritatie, medische hulp vragen.
Symptoms: Irritatie van de ogen.
Onmiddellijke medische hulp vragen. Getroffene niet doen braken.
Symptoms: Indien het product ingeslikt wordt, kan het bij verslikken in de longen terecht komen en een chemische longontsteking veroorzaken.

Chemicaliënbestendige handschoenen worden aanbevolen. Keuze, gebruik en onderhoud van het toestel moeten in overeenstemming zijn met de wettelijke bepalingen, indien van toepassing. De soorten ademhalingstoestellen te overwegen voor dit product omvatten: Een ademhalingstoestel met luchttoevoer op overdruk wordt aanbevolen op plaatsen waar H2S-dampen zich kunnen accumuleren. In geval van hoge concentraties in de lucht, een goedgekeurd ademhalingstoestel met luchtaanvoer onder overdruk gebruiken. Ademhalingstoestellen met luchttoevoer en vluchtcilinder zijn aangewezen wanneer de zuurstofconcentratie ontoereikend is, de gas/damp waarschuwingsgegevens beperkt zijn, of wanneer de luchtfilter capaciteit/graad overschreden kan worden.
Chemicaliën- en oliebestendige kledij wordt aanbevolen.
Voldoen aan de toepasselijke milieuwetgevingen inzake de beperkingen op uitstoot naar lucht, water en grond. Bescherm het milieu door de geschikte beheersmaatregelen te nemen om emissies te voorkomen of te beperken.
