Hazard Statements

  • Flammable liquid and vapour. Causes skin irritation. Causes eye irritation. May cause respiratory irritation; or may cause drowsiness or dizziness. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

Precautionary Statements

  • Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion proof electrical, ventilating or lighting equipment. Use non-sparking tools.
  • Take action to prevent static discharges. Wear protective gloves, clothing, and eye & face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid inhaling dust, fume, gas, mist, vapours, or spray. Only use outdoors, or in a well-ventilated area.
  • IF ON SKIN (or hair): Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin and wash with plenty of water, or shower if on clothing. In case of fire: Use foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide to extinguish. Specific Treatment: Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel. If skin irritation occurs: Seek medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists. Seek medical attention. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a doctor if you feel unwell. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting.
  • Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Keep container tightly closed. Store locked up.
  • Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.

๐Ÿซ Inhalation Exposure

Remove victim to fresh air. If there is difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.

Symptoms:

Breathing difficulties.

๐Ÿ–๏ธ Skin Contact

Flush area with water. If skin is damaged, seek immediate medical attention. If irritation persists seek medical attention. Launder clothing before reuse.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Contact

Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing

Do not induce vomiting. Lay victim on left side to prevent aspiration of any vomit. Seek immediate medical attention.

๐Ÿšจ Immediate Medical Attention Required

Seek immediate medical attention.

Medical Treatment

Fire Fighting Measures & Emergency Response

Fire suppression methods, extinguishing media, and firefighting safety procedures

โœ… Suitable Extinguishing Media

Water fog, foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide.

โŒ Unsuitable Extinguishing Media

DO NOT use water jet - the low flash point of this material may make the use of a water jet inefficient. Do not use direct water jet.

โš ๏ธ Specific Fire Hazards

Flammable. Vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Vapours may travel to source of ignition and flash back. Containers may explode when heated. Thermal decomposition can lead to the release of irritating gases and vapours. Keep product and empty container away from heat and sources of ignition.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Fire Fighting Instructions

Use water spray to cool containers and structures exposed to fire.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Firefighter Protection Equipment

Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.

Accidental Release Measures & Spill Response

Emergency spill cleanup procedures, containment methods, and environmental protection

๐Ÿšจ Emergency Procedures

Evacuate unnecessary personnel. Remove all sources of ignition. Soak up with inert absorbent material.

๐ŸŒ Environmental Precautions

Do not allow to enter any surface water courses or drains and sewers. Product may collect in low places. Remove all sources of ignition and naked flames.

๐Ÿงน Cleanup Methods

Wash area down with soap and water to remove residues.
