First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove victim into fresh air. Allow the affected person to rest in semi-sitting position. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a doctor.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin abundantly with water and soap. (shower if necessary). Consult doctor if irritation develops.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately thoroughly and long (at least 15 min.) with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses. Consult doctor in case of irritation.

Ingestion

DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Rinse mouth with water. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

Immediate Medical Attention

For specialist advice doctors should contact the NVIC or the Belgian Poison center.
