First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him immobile. Seek medical treatment immediately. In case of respiratory standstill give artifical respiration by respirator and send for a doctor.
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing immediately, even underwear and shoes. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.
In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Call for a doctor immediately. Provide for plenty of water to be drunken in small gulps (dilution effect). Additionally medical charcoal tablets should be given (1 spoon of medical charcoal suspension in a glass of water).
Symptoms: vomiting Gastrointestinal complaints
Medical Treatment
If swallowed, induce vomiting (if conscious). If swallowed flush stomach, then activated charcoal (carbo medicalis) and sodium sulfate.
