Notes
DECLL (CLP): Substance classified according to note L, of Annex VI of the EC regulation 1272/2008. The classification as a carcinogen is not necessary if it can be shown that the substance contains less than 3% extract of DMso according to the IP 346 measurement "Determination of the aromatic polycyclics in unused lubricating base oils and petroleum fractions without asphaltene - extraction of dimethyl sulfoxide", Institute of Petroleum, London. This note applies only to certain compound substances derived from petroleum contained in Part 3.
First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Ventilate the premises. The patient is to be removed immediately from the contaminated premises and made to rest in a well ventilated area. Should the patient feel unwell, OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION. If breathing stops, apply artificial respiration. Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest.
Wash contact areas with soap and water. If the product is injected into or under the skin, or in any part of the body, immediately show the patient to a doctor as a surgical emergency.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Rise the mouth with water. Do not induce the vomiting, get medical attention if symptoms occur
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
Immediate Medical Attention
If the product is injected into or under the skin, or in any part of the body, immediately show the patient to a doctor as a surgical emergency. Should the patient feel unwell after inhalation, OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION. Get medical attention if symptoms occur after ingestion.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Water spray. Foam. Multi-purpose powders. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Avoid using direct jets of water on the burning product. Avoid using foam and water on the same surface as the water dissolves the foam.
The product can form flammable mixtures and burn only if heated above its flash point. The presence of more volatile hydrocarbons may increase the risk of flammability.
Firefighter Protection
Use fire fighter's clothing conforming to European standard EN469. Use Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) with chemical resistant gloves.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Notify emergency teams. Avoid contact with skin or contact with eyes by wearing appropriate PPE.
They can be dried with paper towels.
Normal antistatic work clothes are generally appropriate. Reclaim liquid directly or in an adsorbent such as sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomite and collect it in containers.
Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.
Clear spills immediately. Consult an expert to dispose of the recovered material in compliance with the regulations in force.
Materials: absorbing material, organic, sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomite

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists. See also section 8 for recommended protective equipment.
Store in accordance with current legislation. Store in the original closed container. Keep the product in cool and ventilated areas, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
Do not eat or drink while working. Drinking, eating and smoking in areas where the product is handled, stored or processed is prohibited.
The electrical equipment used must comply with local fire prevention regulations for materials of this type. Keep away from heat sources.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
No special requirements under normal conditions of use and with adequate ventilation. In some cases, it will be necessary to flush the fumes, add filters or make technical changes to the process equipment to reduce the emission to acceptable levels. Use best industrial hygiene practices.
Gloves resistant to oils and solvents (neoprene, PVC, nitrile: 4-8 hours permeation time, CEN standard EN 420, 374, 388 have the general requirements and list the types of gloves). Replace the gloves at the first signs of wear.
If contact with the eyes is likely, wear glasses with side protection. The use of protections according to the European standard EN166 is recommended.
If the technical controls are not able to maintain the concentration in the air at an adequate level for the protection of the health of the workers, select the respiratory protection devices suitable for the specific conditions of use and in compliance with the legislation in force.
Use protective clothes of suitable material; change contaminated clothing immediately and wash it thoroughly before using it again. It is advisable to maintain good personal hygiene and working hygiene (UNI EN 465 - 466 - 467).
Limit the discharge to air, water and soil according to the applicable regulations. Protect the environment by applying control measures to limit emissions.
