Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove victim to uncontaminated area wearing self contained breathing apparatus. Keep victim warm and rested. Call a doctor. Apply artificial respiration if breathing stopped.

Symptoms: Loss of mobility/consciousness, asphyxiation, increased respiration and headache (low concentrations).

Skin contact

In case of frostbite spray with water for at least 15 minutes. Apply a sterile dressing. Obtain medical assistance.

Symptoms: Frostbite.

Eye contact

In case of frostbite spray with water for at least 15 minutes. Apply a sterile dressing. Obtain medical assistance.

Symptoms: Frostbite.

Ingestion

Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure.

Immediate Medical Attention

Obtain medical assistance.
