Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Frisse lucht toedienen; bij klachten arts ontbieden.
Onmiddellijk met water en zeep afwassen en goed naspoelen. Huidbeschermingscreme gebruiken.
Symptoms: Wanneer de huid gerriteerd blijft, een dokter raadplegen. Langdurige of frequentie blootstelling kan huidontstekingen (dermatitis) veroorzaken. Droge huid.
Ogen met open ooglid een aantal minuten onder stromend water afspoelen en dokter raadplegen.
Geen braken teweegbrengen en onmiddellijk medische hulp raadplegen.
Symptoms: Bij het inslikken met daaropvolgende braakneigingen kan aspiratie in de longen plaatsvinden - dat kan leiden tot longoedeem. Aspiratiegevaar.
Immediate Medical Attention
Bij klachten arts ontbieden (na inademen). Dokter raadplegen (na oogcontact). Een dokter raadplegen (bij huidirritatie). Onmiddellijk medische hulp raadplegen (na inslikken). Daarna observatie voor longontsteking en longoedeem.

Veiligheidshandschoenen. Het handschoenmateriaal moet ondoorlatend en bestand zijn tegen het product / de stof / de bereiding. Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de penetratietijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. Aanbeveling: Nitrilrubber, Fluorrubber (Viton). De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschilt van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Doordringingstijd van het handschoenmateriaal: bijvoorbeeld Camatril Velours 730 (nitrilrubber) / Vitoject 890 (viton) / made by KCL / (Doordringingstijd >480min). Penetratie tijd: niveau 6, > 480 minuten dikte 0,9-1 mm. De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee. Niet geschikt zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen: Handschoenen uit leder, Handschoenen uit dikke stof.
Nauw aansluitende veiligheidsbril. Gezichtsbescherming en veiligheidsbril. Gebruik voor de oogbescherming enkel uitrusting die conform de officiële standaarden, bv. NIOSH (US) of EN 166 (EU), getest en geautoriseerd werd.
Adembescherming enkel bij aerosol- of nevelvorming. Indien het gevaar bestaat dat de vermelde grenswaarden worden overschreden, wordt het dragen van adembescherming aanbevolen: Ademfilter voor organische gassen en dampen (type A)
