First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove to fresh air. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested or inhaled the substance; give artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device. Immediate medical attention is required. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.
Immediate Medical Attention
Immediate medical attention is required.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Water spray, carbon dioxide (CO₂), dry chemical, alcohol-resistant foam. Water mist maybe used to cool closed containers.
Water may be ineffective.
Flammable. Risk of ignition. vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Vapours may travel to source of ignition and flash back. Containers may explode when heated. vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapours.
Firefighter Protection
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Should not be released into the environment. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage.
Soak up with inert absorbent material. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Materials: inert absorbent material, suitable, closed containers
