First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Skin contact

Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

Eye contact

Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids widely. If irritation persists continue rinsing and transport to hospital taking these instructions.

Ingestion

DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.

Immediate Medical Attention

Get medical attention immediately (ingestion). Get medical attention if discomfort continues (inhalation). Get medical attention if irritation persists (skin/eyes).

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.

Specific hazards

Fire creates: Toxic gases/vapours/fumes of Carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon dioxide (CO2). Nitrous gases (NOx).

Instructions

Avoid breathing fire vapours.

Firefighter Protection

Use pressurised air mask if product is involved in a fire.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

07

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Do not use in confined spaces without adequate ventilation and/or respirator.

Storage

Store in tightly closed original container in a cool, dry well-ventilated place.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Provide adequate ventilation, including appropriate local extraction, to ensure that the defined workplace exposure limit is not exceeded.

Hands

For prolonged or repeated skin contact use suitable protective gloves.

Eyes

Wear approved safety goggles.

Respiratory

If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided.
