First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move affected person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention. Move affected person to fresh air and keep warm and at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Symptoms: When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering oxygen. Vapours may cause headache, fatigue, dizziness and nausea.
Remove affected person from source of contamination. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Symptoms: Prolonged skin contact may cause redness and irritation.
Remove affected person from source of contamination. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide apart. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Symptoms: Irritation of eyes and mucous membranes.
If conscious, give several small portions of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. Move affected person to fresh air and keep warm and at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Symptoms: May cause stomach pain or vomiting.
Immediate Medical Attention
Get medical attention immediately.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Extinguish with alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog.
Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
The product is flammable. Heating may generate flammable vapours. Vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Vapours may be ignited by a spark, a hot surface or an ember. The product is highly flammable. Forms explosive mixtures with air. Vapours are heavier than air and may spread near ground and travel a considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back.
Keep up-wind to avoid fumes. Fight fire from safe distance or protected location. Move containers from fire area if it can be done without risk. Cool containers exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out. Ventilate closed spaces before entering them. Risk of re-ignition after fire has been extinguished.
Firefighter Protection
Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
If leakage cannot be stopped, evacuate area. Wash thoroughly after dealing with a spillage.
Cover large spillages with alcohol-resistant foam. Inform authorities if large amounts are involved.
Do not discharge into drains or watercourses or onto the ground. Avoid or minimise the creation of any environmental contamination. Never use water by itself on spillage.
Absorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material.
Materials: non-combustible, absorbent material

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Static electricity and formation of sparks must be prevented. Avoid spilling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Storage tanks and other containers must be earthed. Protect electric equipment against sparking in case of risk of explosion. Wear suitable protective equipment for prolonged exposure and/or high concentrations of vapours, spray or mist. Contaminated rags and cloths must be put in fireproof containers for disposal. Remove contamination with soap and water or recognised skin cleansing agent. Do not use organic solvents. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Container must be kept tightly closed when not in use. Do not use in confined spaces without adequate ventilation and/or respirator. Protect against direct sunlight.
Store in tightly-closed, original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Remove contamination with soap and water or recognised skin cleansing agent. Do not use organic solvents. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product.

Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. Observe any occupational exposure limits for the product or ingredients. Use explosion-proof general and local exhaust ventilation.
Use protective gloves. It should be noted that liquid may penetrate the gloves. Frequent changes are recommended. The most suitable glove should be chosen in consultation with the glove supplier/manufacturer, who can provide information about the breakthrough time of the glove material. Protective gloves should have a minimum thickness of 0.4 mm.
Wear chemical splash goggles. Eyewear complying with an approved standard should be worn if a risk assessment indicates eye contact is possible. The following protection should be worn: Chemical splash goggles or face shield.
If ventilation is inadequate, suitable respiratory protection must be worn. Wear a respirator fitted with the following cartridge: Organic vapour filter. In confined or poorly-ventilated spaces, a supplied-air respirator must be worn. Check that the respirator fits tightly and the filter is changed regularly.
Use barrier creams to minimise skin contact. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of liquid contact and repeated or prolonged vapour contact.

Disposal Considerations
Waste treatment methods, disposal recommendations, and waste codes
Do not puncture or incinerate, even when empty. Waste, residues, empty containers, discarded work clothes and contaminated cleaning materials should be collected in designated containers, labelled with their contents.
Dispose of waste to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with the requirements of the local Waste Disposal Authority.
