First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

If combined with excessive dust or from other fumes remove to fresh air.

Symptoms: breathing or coughing symptoms

Skin contact

Immediately flush the skin with plenty of water while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Symptoms: Itching or burning of the skin.

Eye contact

Flush immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids should be held away from the eyeball to ensure thorough rinsing.

Symptoms: Eye irritation.

Ingestion

Flush mouth out with water. Give large volumes of water if ingested. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.

Symptoms: May be irritating to the mouth and throat along with possible stomach pain or nausea might occur.
