First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move to fresh air. Call a physician immediately.
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Call a physician immediately.
In case of eye contact, remove contact lens and rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Call a physician immediately.
Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician immediately.
Immediate Medical Attention
Call a physician immediately.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding fire.
Never use water.
Heating or fire can release toxic gas.
Firefighter Protection
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Should not be released into the environment.
Soak up with inert absorbent material. Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.
Materials: inert absorbent material (such as sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust)
