Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Use with adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to minimize exposures levels.

Hands

Impervious gloves are recommended if contact is possible.

Eyes

Chemical safety goggles are recommended if contact is possible.

Respiratory

None needed under normal use conditions. In operations where exposure levels are exceeded, an approved dust/mist respirator or supplied air respirator should be used. Equipment selection depends on contaminant type and concentration. Select in accordance with applicable regulations and good industrial hygiene practice. For firefighting, use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Skin/Body

Wear protective clothing as needed to avoid skin contact and contamination of personal clothing.
