First Aid Measures

Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Consult a physician for specific advice. Place unconscious person on the side in the recovery position and ensure breathing

Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
1) Shovel into empty steel drums 2) Take the Drum outside 3) Cover the product with an inert dry chemical (e.g. Bentonite clay) 4) quench the drum with an amount of waterapprox. 3-5 times the PLZ weight 5) Dispose the drum via a special waste contractor
1) Shovel all material into empty PLZ container/packaging (cut off top) 2) Place the container /packaging in a dedicated open skip 3) Remove the top of the container/packaging 4) Cover the product with an inert dry chemical (e.g bentonite clay) 5) Quench the material with an amount of water approx. 3-5 times the PLZ material weight 6) Leave the container/packaging until the reaction is finished 7) If the temperature is again normal ambient temperature, the material can be sent in the skip as is to a special waste handling contractor
Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be IMMEDIATELY alerted to the Environmental Agency or other appropriate regulatory body. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
