First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If inhaled, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.
Symptoms: Overexposure may be irritating to the respiratory system. In high concentrations may cause narcotic effects. Symptoms may include dizziness, headache, nausea and loss of co-ordination.
Wash skin thoroughly with mild soap and water. Obtain medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Symptoms: May cause mild skin irritation.
Immediately rinse with water for a prolonged period (at least 15 minutes) while holding the eyelids wide open. Obtain medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Symptoms: Causes eye irritation. Liquid and vapors may cause excess blinking and tear production.
Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if a large amount is swallowed.
Symptoms: If a large quantity has been ingested: Headache. Nausea. Vomiting. Abdominal pain.
Immediate Medical Attention
Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists, if irritation develops or persists, or if a large amount is swallowed.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Powder, alcohol-resistant foam, water spray, carbon dioxide (CO₂).
Do not use a heavy water stream. Use of heavy stream of water may spread fire.
Combustible liquid. Under conditions of fire this material may produce: Carbon dioxide (CO₂). Carbon monoxide. On heating, there is a risk of bursting due to internal pressure build-up.
Keep upwind. Do not breathe fumes from fires or vapors from decomposition. Vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Evacuate unnecessary personnel. On heating, there is a risk of bursting due to internal pressure build-up. Cool down the containers exposed to heat with a water spray.
Firefighter Protection
Use normal individual fire protective equipment. Wear full fire-fighting turn out gear (full Bunker gear) and respiratory protection (SCBA).
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Eliminate ignition sources. Stop leak if safe to do so. Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams. Evacuate unnecessary personnel. Ventilate area.
For large or bulk quantities, after absorption with inert material, collect spillage by sweeping up spilled material and place in a labeled, sealed container for proper disposal.
Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams.
Clean up any spills as soon as possible, using an absorbent material to collect it. For large or bulk quantities, after absorption with inert material, collect spillage by sweeping up spilled material and place in a labeled, sealed container for proper disposal. Use only non-sparking tools. Practice good housekeeping - spillage can be slippery on smooth surface either wet or dry.
Materials: absorbent material, inert material

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Read label before use.
Keep away from heat and open flame.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Good mechanical ventilation may be adequate for maintaining airborne concentrations below established exposure limits for large uncontrolled releases. If exposure limits are exceeded and inhaled: use a NOISH approved respirator.
Not required for normal conditions of use.
Not required for normal conditions of use.
Not required for normal conditions of use. An approved organic vapor respirator/supplied air or self-contained breathing apparatus must be used when vapor concentration exceeds applicable exposure limits.
Not required for normal conditions of use.
Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
