First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Rinse nose and mouth with water. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering oxygen. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention.
Symptoms: Irritation of nose, throat and airway. Difficulty in breathing. In case of overexposure, organic solvents may depress the central nervous system causing dizziness and intoxication, and at very high concentrations unconsciousness and death.
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Symptoms: Skin irritation. Prolonged contact may cause redness, irritation and dry skin.
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Symptoms: Irritation of eyes and mucous membranes. Irritation, burning, lachrymation, blurred vision after liquid splash.
Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water (200-300 ml). Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! Get medical attention immediately!
Symptoms: May cause discomfort if swallowed. May cause stomach pain or vomiting. Swallowing concentrated chemical may cause severe internal injury.
Immediate Medical Attention
Get prompt medical attention.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Extinguish with alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog. Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.
Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
The product is highly flammable, and explosive vapours/air mixtures may be formed even at normal room temperatures. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE! May explode in a fire. May travel considerable distance to source of ignition and flash back. Vapour explosion and poison hazard indoors, outdoors and in sewers.
Avoid breathing fire vapours. Keep up-wind to avoid fumes. Be aware of danger of explosion. Use water to keep fire exposed containers cool and disperse vapours. Be aware of risk of fire re-starting, and risk of explosion.
Firefighter Protection
Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid inhalation of vapours and contact with skin and eyes. In case of inadequate ventilation, use respiratory protection. Do not smoke, use open fire or other sources of ignition. In case of spills, beware of slippery floors and surfaces.
Inform Authorities if large amounts are involved.
Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow ANY environmental contamination.
Collect spillage in containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal according to local regulations.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Do not handle broken packages without protective equipment. Avoid inhalation of vapours/spray and contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Static electricity and formation of sparks must be prevented. Do not use in confined spaces without adequate ventilation and/or respirator.
Flammable/combustible - Keep away from oxidisers, heat and flames. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Keep separate from food, feedstuffs, fertilisers and other sensitive material. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Protect from freezing.
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Static electricity and formation of sparks must be prevented. Contaminated rags and cloths must be put in fireproof containers for disposal.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Explosion-proof general and local exhaust ventilation. Provide adequate ventilation, including appropriate local extraction, to ensure that the defined occupational exposure limit is not exceeded. All handling to take place in well-ventilated area.
Protective gloves must be used if there is a risk of direct contact or splash. Use protective gloves made of: Rubber (natural, latex). Neoprene.
Wear splash-proof eye goggles to prevent any possibility of eye contact.
If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided. At work in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, respiratory protection with air supply must be used. Seek advice from supervisor on the companies' respiratory protection standards.
Wear suitable protective clothing as protection against splashing or contamination.
Keep container tightly sealed when not in use. Residues and empty containers should be taken care of as hazardous waste according to local and national provisions. Emissions from ventilation or work process equipment should be checked to ensure they comply with the requirements of environmental protection legislation. In some cases, fume scrubbers, filters or engineering modifications to the process equipment will be necessary to reduce emissions to acceptable levels.
