Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

๐Ÿญ Engineering Controls

Provide adequate ventilation. If handled uncovered, arrangements with local exhaust ventilation should be used if possible. If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.

๐Ÿงค Hand Protection

Tested protective gloves must be worn (EN ISO 374): FKM (fluoro rubber) penetration time (maximum wearing period): 480 min. NBR (Nitrile rubber) penetration time (maximum wearing period): 480 min. For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves. Protective gloves have to be replaced at the first sign of deterioration. Protect skin by using skin protective cream.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Protection

Eye glasses with side protection (DIN EN 166)
